Step 1: - Click
setup.exe
Step 2: - Click Installation
link from left side
Step 3: - Click New SQL
Server stand-alone installation or add features to an existing Installation link
Step 4: - Specify the
edition of SQL Server 2014 to install => Click Next
Step 5: - To install SQL
Server 2014, you must accept the Microsoft Software Licence Terms =>
Click Next
Note: -
Turn on Customer Experience Improvement Program…. (optional)
Step 6: - Setup rules
identify potential problems that might occur while running setup. Failure must
be corrected before setup => Click Next
Step 7: - Check the SQL
Server Feature Installation option to individually select which feature
components to install, or click a feature role to install a specific
configuration => Click Next
Step 8: - Select the
Standard features to install => Click Next
Step 9: - Specify the
name and instance ID for the instance of the SQL Server. Instance ID becomes part
of the installation path => Click Next
Step 10: - Specify the service
accounts and collection configuration => Click Next
Step 11: - Specify Database
Engine authentication security mode, administrators and data directories =>
Click Next
Step 12: - Verify the
SQL Server 2014 features to be installed => Click Install
Step 13: - Your SQL
Server 2014 installation completed successfully with product updates =>
Click Close
